This article reports a case of SARS-CoV-2 infection complicated by intrahepatic cholestasis pregnancy in the second trimester South Asian woman. She presented with itchiness and grossly elevated bile acid following virus infection. Her resolved parallel her while she was being treated ursodeoxycholic acid. Bile is considered harmful to developing fetus associated adverse outcomes, particularly stillbirth. Ursodeoxycholic still commonly used treatment these patients despite controversy about its value. It has anti-inflammatory properties there have been suggestions that this could benefit SARS-CoV-2.
